California Sunday Magazine × Hermès — Pitch Deck
Pitching a dramatic magazine ad concept to Hermès. California Sunday Magazine’s, glossy pages, renowned photography, and readership made it the perfect place to stage a memorable Hermès brand experience: a dream in print. A gatefold in the center of the magazine. Readers would first see two doors with an invitation to “Escape into the Dream.” When opened, a riotous & surreal dreamscape would be revealed.
Worked as a designer along side the incredibly talented Nancy Miller. To showcase the visual potential of our proposal, I created a miniature of the magazine and photographed it in my fireplace. Mixing handmade elements with existing illustrations from Le Monde d'Hermes, I created examples of what “the dream” would look like in print.
